Desulphurization, Dephosphorization and Mg treatment and pouring
To make GJS and GJV, the base iron is desulfurized and treated by the addition of Mg. During pouring, inoculant is added. Küttner has implemented a wide range of concepts for ladle treatment behind cupola and induction furnace systems for the supply of automatic green sand molding plants, large castings foundries or centrifugal casters.
The product range extends from simple siphon treatment ladles to 30 t ladles and includes both heated and unheated ladles, up to 280 castings/hour automatic pouring units.
- Mg immersion lance stations with high Mg output and short treatment times
